Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files or similar browser storage that a website can use to remember a setting or support a request. This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on RTEO's public website.

2. Essential storage

RTEO may use essential cookies or browser storage for security, sessions, preferences and features you ask to use. These are not controlled by the public marketing analytics choice. Restricting browser storage can affect sign-in, forms or other features.

3. Optional analytics

On the public marketing pages, RTEO loads optional analytics only after you choose Allow analytics. The current installation uses Google Analytics 4 for aggregate page views and closed-set funnel events, and Vercel Speed Insights for web performance vitals.

The implementation is limited to the production public marketing origins https://rteo.com.au and https://www.rteo.com.au. It excludes application, authentication, tenant enrolment and internal routes. Query strings and fragments are removed from page locations before collection, and form values, names, email addresses, telephone numbers and submission receipts are not sent as analytics parameters.

Google Analytics 4 may create host-only analytics cookies after consent. Ads storage, advertising personalisation, advertising user data and Google signals are not enabled by this installation. Vercel Speed Insights receives only allowlisted origin-and-path URLs after its event filter runs.

4. Tags a training organisation installs on its own pages

This policy covers RTEO's own public marketing website and nothing else.

A training organisation that uses RTEO may install its own measurement and advertising tags in its workspace, for example a Google Tag Manager container, a Google Analytics 4 property, Google Ads conversion tracking, a Meta Pixel or a Bing UET tag, and may choose which of its own surfaces those tags fire on, including its enrolment pages. Those tags belong to that organisation, not to RTEO. They are set by that organisation, they send data to the vendor that organisation chose, and RTEO does not control, receive or store what they collect.

If you are a student or an enquirer and you want to know what tracking runs on an enrolment form, ask the training organisation whose form it is. Its own privacy policy, not this one, describes it.

5. Your choice

You can choose No analytics when the notice appears, or reopen Cookie preferences from the marketing-site footer. Withdrawing consent disables this installation and removes its identifiable analytics cookies where the browser allows us to identify them. A choice is stored in your browser so it can be remembered on a later visit.

You can also use browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential storage may affect the website's operation.
